Evolver is seeking an experienced Senior Security Systems Integrator & Installer to lead the deployment, programming, integration, testing, and commissioning of enterprise security systems for government and commercial customers. This position is ideal for a highly skilled security professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, leading field teams, and delivering high-quality integrated security solutions.

Responsibilities

Advanced Installation, Integration, and Commissioning



  • Independently install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, program, and commission complex electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, cabling, panels, enclosures, controllers, card readers, IP cameras, door hardware, and associated field devices.
  • Deploy, configure, and validate enterprise security hardware and software, including IP-based cameras, access control panels, alarm devices, servers, workstations, network-connected devices, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Complete or assist with installation hardware design and software programming using established standards, while providing detailed information to communicate system design and operation to the customer.
  • Load, verify, and commission system controllers and associated field devices as required.
  • Validate complete system functionality, troubleshoot problems, and ensure proper system operation prior to customer handoff.


System Programming and Platform Integration



  • Program and configure system databases, controllers, alarms, schedules, permissions, users, devices, and system logic across enterprise security platforms.
  • Integrate access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercom, and communication systems to ensure proper interoperability between field hardware, software platforms, customer networks, and supporting IT infrastructure.
  • Perform system programming, testing, verification, and commissioning on platforms including but not limited to Hirsch/Identiv, Bosch CCTV, Bosch IDS, Commend, and Aiphone.
  • Apply working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, VLANs, network switches, device communication, and server/workstation connectivity to support successful system integration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, cabling, communication, network, and device-level issues both remotely and on-site.


Field Leadership and Technical Oversight



  • Serve as the on-site Lead Technician, Site Lead, or senior field representative for small, medium, and large electronic security installations.
  • Work independently and lead other technicians to successfully complete assigned installation, service, commissioning, and closeout tasks.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor junior and mid-level technicians, helpers, and field personnel in system installation, cable routing, device termination, troubleshooting, safety, and quality standards.
  • Provide on-the-job training opportunities for technicians and helpers.
  • Train and supervise entry-level and Level I & II technicians in a team environment to support proper cable installation from equipment rooms to field devices while following drawings, run lists, and installation standards.


Basic Qualifications



  • 8 years of direct hands-on experience with electronic security systems and low-voltage installations.
  • 5 years of technical hands-on experience commissioning and programming security, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercom, or related enterprise security systems.
  • 3 years of Experience and/or certifications with:


    • Hirsch/Identiv Access Control
    • Bosch CCTV
    • Bosch Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
    • Commend Intercom Systems
    • Aiphone Intercom Systems


  • 3 years of experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, networking, and system integration.
  • 3 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.


  • 3 years of experience with TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, network switches, VLAN concepts, server/workstation connectivity, and network-based security device troubleshooting.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.



Preferred Qualifications



  • 10 years of direct hands-on experience with electronic security systems and low-voltage installations.
  • years of technical hands-on experience commissioning and programming security, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercom, or related enterprise security systems.
  • Current manufacturer certifications or formal training in Hirsch/Identiv, Bosch CCTV, Bosch IDS, Commend, Aiphone, and other enterprise security platforms.
  • Certifications, classroom training, or hands-on experience with fiber optics, networking, Windows operating systems, Microsoft programs, and databases.
  • Ability to do project schedules and labor projections, provide detailed Daily Status Reports, and perform equipment inventory and control duties.
  • Prior experience serving as a Lead Technician, Site Lead, Foreman, or senior field technical representative on large government, commercial, or enterprise security projects.
