As a Process Equipment Specialist based in Morgan Hill, CA you will have responsibility for maintaining all manufacturing equipment in the assembly area (this would include ovens, bonders, cleaning equipment, thermoshock chambers, hot plates, cold plates, gap welders, microscope accessories, bond pull tester, bobbin winder and press, air guns, etc.), design and manufacture simple assembly fixtures and specialty tools.

Other responsibilities include:



  • Maintain all manufacturing equipment in the assembly area (this would include ovens, bonders, cleaning equipment, thermoshock chambers, hot plates, cold plates, gap welders, microscope accessories, bond pull tester, bobbin winder and press, air guns, etc.), design and manufacture simple assembly fixtures and specialty tools.
  • Repair and maintenance of all bonders (wedge, ball, tack, auto), and develop new processes
  • Service and maintain Branson cleaning process and evaluate new cleaning processes.
  • Repair and maintenance of gap welding equipment and develop new processes.
  • Model shop skills on the mills and lathes ta manufacture tools and fixtures.
  • Maintain and repair Thermo-Shock equipment and burn-in ovens.
  • Assist and train assemblers on new processes and use of assembly equipment.
  • Documentation of drawings and assembly processes.
  • This position will be reporting to the Sr. Manufacturing Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA


Requirements:



  • High school diploma required; some college a plus
  • Experience in RF microwave assembly a plus
  • Occasional lifting of 50 lbs to fill the Branson cleaning machines required
  • Must have a passion for manufacturing equipment to be functional to meet production demands
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, able to problem solve and repair failed equipment
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Experience working with hand and power tools, mill and laths
  • Computer skills in work
  • Good problem solving skills on mechanical assemblies are required


The annual base salary range for this position is $97,000 - $120,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Anritsu Company considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
