The Compensation Consultant serves as a senior individual contributor responsible for leading compensation strategy, job evaluation, and enterprise compensation initiatives. This role operates as a strategic partner to HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders while providing functional oversight and guidance to the Compensation Analyst. This position is accountable to ensure compensation practices are consistent, market-aligned, and defensible. The role leads job architecture and leveling efforts, supports complex hiring and organizational decisions, and drives compensation governance across the organization. In addition, the Compensation Consultant develops and delivers manager training, communication, and tools to ensure clear and consistent application of compensation programs. This role acts as a delegate for the Department Manager in day-to-day decision making and serves as a key escalation point for complex or sensitive compensation decisions. Day to Day:

Physical, Environmental & Scheduling Requirements This position operates in a professional office environment with a hybrid work schedule. Employees are expected to work onsite at a designated company location a minimum of two (2) days per week, with the remaining work performed remotely, subject to business needs and manager direction. Work is primarily sedentary and involves extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and using standard office equipment such as keyboards, monitors, and telephones. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of light materials (generally up to 15 pounds) may be required. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to participate in virtual and in-person meetings. Work is generally performed during standard business hours; however, schedule flexibility may be required to support business needs, project deadlines, or collaboration across time zones.
