JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Coordinate and schedule equipment deliveries and pickups for the rental fleet, ensuring timely and efficient service to customers.
  • Optimize driver routes and transportation logistics to maximize productivity and minimize operating costs.
  • Arrange and manage third-party transportation providers when internal fleet capacity is exceeded.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules, pickups, delays, and transportation updates.

Oversee driver performance, attendance, time management, electronic logs, and annual performance reviews.

  • Track, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with rental, sales, service, and other internal departments to support equipment movement and business operations.
  • Foster positive customer and employee experiences by resolving issues proactively and maintaining a high standard of service and communication.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School or equivalent required
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the service-related industry.
  • Knowledge of DOT/HOS regulations, requirements and oversized/overweight permits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
