Contingent Contract Award ONSITE-Mechanicsburg, PA Connected Logistics is seeking to hire a Software Developer to support a DLA client's full software development lifecycle; to provide in-depth knowledge of requirements development, system design, system performance, and software programming; and to design and manage the database and deployment software. The Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. They are responsible for development efforts, for contributing to architectural decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable codebases, and for mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities
- Develop software based on requirements developed by Computer Systems Analysts to meet the business solution needed at enterprise, large-scale level. All work is within the application development framework used by the organization.
- Collaborate with Computer Systems Analysts to fulfill the client's goals to implement the business solution.
- Proficiently execute work using the tools and techniques implemented for the project.
- Work directly with Systems Architects to develop and implement new third-party applications, tools, and programming libraries to meet DLA's development goals.
- Utilize web-based software such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST API, mobile development, and Web Based API in developing software applications.
- Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Act as team leader on projects.
- Participate in development of software user manuals.
- Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other software developers on development team.
Additional Key Responsibilities Software Development & Architecture
- Design and develop complex software solutions using best practices and modern technologies.
- Ensure code quality through design reviews, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
- Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technology strategies.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid-level and junior developers.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the development team.
- Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Agile Team Collaboration
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies.
- Work closely with Product Owners, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver value-driven features.
- Drive technical discussions and decision-making within the team.
Performance & Optimization
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
- Implement and advocate for secure coding practices.
- Ensure maintainability and scalability of software solutions.
Requirements
- Five (5) years relevant experience
- Experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) to support Low-Code/No Code Development Platform models.
- Experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
- Experience developing application/process automation software based on BPMN models.
- Experience using software tools such as Appian, Salesforce, Nintex, etc. with Microsoft
- SQL Server databases and Microsoft .NET development environment.
- Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Position Sensitivity: Non-Critical Sensitive (Formerly IT-II or IT-2).
- Investigation Requirements: Must possess a favorable Tier 3 (T3) NACLC/ANACI.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience within DOD DLA DPAS/ELMS or similar federal agencies.
