Fortress Nutrition is growing-and we're looking for a detail-driven, accountable Quality Technician to support our high-speed beverage canning operations on our Weekend Shift. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in accuracy, and want a schedule that gives you more balance without sacrificing your paycheck, this is the perfect opportunity.

This role is critical to ensuring product quality, food safety, and compliance standards are met at every stage of production.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Work 3 days and get paid for 40 hours
  • Enjoy a consistent Friday-Sunday schedule while earning a full-time paycheck-giving you more time off during the week.

Schedule: Weekend Shift
  • Friday - Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • 3-day work week (36 hours worked, paid for 40 hours minimum)
Training Schedule (Required)
  • 1st Shift (Monday - Friday)
  • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Training time/schedule may be flexible based on your availability, but must be completed during the week on 1st Shift

What You'll Do
  • Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
  • Collect and prepare samples for third-party laboratory testing
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation (pH meters, titrators, Brix/density tools, etc.)
  • Communicate quality data and provide guidance to production teams
  • Complete all documentation (MMRs, logs, test records) accurately and in real time following Good Documentation Practices
  • Support audits from regulatory and third-party organizations
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and testing programs
  • Assist with calibration programs and customer complaint investigations
  • Cross-train to ensure full quality coverage across operations
  • Follow and enforce all GMPs, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Support operations through flexibility and overtime as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
