Intercollegiate Athletics Job Description
Position Summary The Director of Athletic Performance for Women's Basketball is responsible for leading all aspects of strength and conditioning, athletic performance enhancement, and sports science initiatives for the University of Missouri Women's Basketball program. Reporting directly to the Head Coach, this position designs and implements comprehensive training programs that optimize student-athlete performance, reduce injury risk, and support long-term athletic development. The Director collaborates closely with coaching, sports medicine, nutrition, and athletic department personnel while ensuring compliance with NCAA, SEC, and University regulations. Key Responsibilities 1. Athletic Performance Program Development and Implementation (50%) * Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive year-round strength and conditioning programs for Women's Basketball student-athletes. 2. Student-Athlete Training and Development (20%) * Conduct and supervise daily strength and conditioning sessions. 3. Performance Assessment and Sports Science Support (15%) * Administer athletic performance testing and assessment protocols. 4. Facility Operations and Staff Development (10%) * Assist with the day-to-day operation, organization, and maintenance of the athletic performance facility. 5. Other Duties (5%) * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletics administration. Shift

A Bachelor's degree in related/ relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Anticipated Hiring Range
