Job Description

Mizzou Advancement Communications and Marketing is dedicated to implementing a comprehensive, data-informed and collaborative communications and marketing strategy that supports the university's philanthropic and alumni relations goals. We are currently seeking a creative, result-driven person to join our team in developing compelling, high-impact projects that engage donors and alumni and inspire philanthropic support for Mizzou.

Reporting to the Creative Team Manager, the Communications Coordinator Sr will oversee digital communications projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope and aligned with strategic objectives. The role requires a creative team member who can contribute to and distribute creative messaging and maintain high standards for quality and consistency.
Success in this position requires digital design and writing skills. Experience with email-building tools, the Adobe Suite and HTML and/or CSS are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement high visibility email campaigns with complex versioning, segmenting and tokening, by creating, scheduling, testing and sending, while working with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Partners with the Creative Team Manager and the Communications Project Manager for email data reporting
  • Updates and maintains website content on Advancement, Campaign and MAA websites
  • Other duties as assigned
Shift

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with some occasional events

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $20-$25 hourly

Grade: GGS-8
