BPMA Testing Technician (Contract-to-Hire) Pay: $32-$40/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Join an innovative aerospace engineering team as a BPMA Testing Technician supporting the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of advanced propulsion and electromechanical systems. This is an excellent contract-to-hire opportunity for experienced technicians seeking long-term career growth in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform functional, mechanical, and electrical testing of aerospace components, assemblies, and propulsion hardware. Set up and operate test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition systems. Troubleshoot test failures and identify root causes in mechanical, electrical, fluid, and electromechanical systems. Assemble, modify, and rework precision components and assemblies. Collect, analyze, and document test results while maintaining quality and traceability standards. Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions. Support prototype builds, production testing, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in testing, manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, mechanical assembly, or a related technical field. Experience using diagnostic and test equipment. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing documentation. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering and production teams. Preferred Experience Aerospace, propulsion, vacuum, fluid, or electromechanical systems testing. Pressure testing, leak testing, instrumentation, or data acquisition systems. AS9100, regulated manufacturing, or high-reliability environments. Soldering, mechanical assembly, machining, or electrical troubleshooting. U.S. Citizenship Required due to government contract requirements.
