What you'll be doing...The GN&T Network Security team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Engineer to join the Security Defense organization. The Defense teams are responsible for owning the security lifecycle and effectiveness across the Core, Edge, and Access networks and all of the systems and network functions within GN&T. In this role, you will focus on Enterprise Access and help drive the discovery and identity of all network assets in your respective area of responsibility. You will be expected apply existing routing, switching, security and network architecture knowledge to understand asset function, safeguard said assets through continuous monitoring and proactive threat detections, and improve the security hygiene by implementing the Network Security Fundamentals (Access Management, Situational Awareness, Configuration Hardening, Vulnerability)
