This Nurse Manager will oversee a well-established
32-bed Med Surg unit with approximately
49 FTEs, supporting a strong team of experienced nurses and caregivers serving orthopedic and surgical patients. The ideal leader will focus on patient experience, team development, operational excellence, and fostering a highly engaged culture of care.
The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care. As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care. Job Requirements:
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
- Leadership experience may include Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar roles.
- Orthopedic nursing experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop clinical teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to patient experience and quality outcomes.
