Nutritional Cashier

Supervisor of Nutritional Services, First Cook, Building Principals

None

SALARY:

$18.29/hr - $19.02/hr (subject to negotiated agreement and work experience)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1-3 years' work-related experience

Preferred
* Bilingual
* Basic cashiering skills
* Knowledge of customer service principles

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nutritional Cashier manages students in the lunch line, assists in the kitchen with food preparation, refills condiment dispensers, and performs related cashiering and support tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

* Set up computer systems and operate Skyward as students progress through the lunch line
* Compile daily balance sheets for lunches and beverages sold
* Sell meal tickets
* Assist in maintaining a safe and clean kitchen and cafeteria environment
* Facilitate daily money deposits
* Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL FACTORS:

* Frequent: walking, standing, sitting, hearing, talking, seeing, and repetitive motions
* Light Work: lifting up to 25 pounds and/or exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible force constantly to move objects
