- Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist residential and commercial customers by resolving questions, concerns, and service-related issues.
- Provide service quotes for prospective customers.
- Establish new customer accounts by documenting service type, pricing, billing information, and other required account details while communicating accurate and concise information.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving concerns and offering alternatives to cancellation requests to help retain customers.
- Handle an average of approximately 100 inbound calls per day.
- Maintain an average call answer time of fewer than 12 seconds.
- Listen carefully to understand each customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services, such as lock bars, casters, gate fees, and other available options.
- Work closely with customers and Waste Pro employees to resolve service issues, escalating more complex concerns when appropriate.
- Serve as the customer's advocate by coordinating with the appropriate departments to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Support other service lines and departments as needed.
- Use Waste Pro's internal systems to access customer and route information and maintain accurate customer records.
- Complete cross-training in Operations, Sales, Billing, and other departments assigned.
- Meet or exceed established call center performance goals for productivity, quality, customer service, and timeliness.
Other Job Responsibilities include:
- Attend and participate in company-sponsored training courses as assigned.
- Stay up to date on the technology and systems used by Waste Pro that are relevant to your position.
- Will be assigned additional duties as needed by the Supervisor to support business needs.

- Previous customer service or call center experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong computer and technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, accurate data entry, and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.

- A positive attitude and pleasant demeanor with the ability to build rapport and provide outstanding customer service, even during challenging situations.
- The ability to multitask efficiently by navigating multiple computer screens, documenting customer information, and speaking with customers simultaneously.
- The ability to remain calm, organized, and professional while handling a heavy volume of inbound calls throughout the day.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly, make sound decisions, and resolve customer concerns promptly.

- This position is primarily performed in an office environment.
- Requires frequent use of a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment throughout most of the workday.

- Must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a computer and handling a high volume of customer calls.
- Occasionally may be required to stand, walk, bend, reach, or lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
