WHAT YOU DO AT AMD CHANGES EVERYTHING At AMD, our mission is to build great products that accelerate next-generation computing experiences-from AI and data centers, to PCs, gaming and embedded systems. Grounded in a culture of innovation and collaboration, we believe real progress comes from bold ideas, human ingenuity and a shared passion to create something extraordinary. When you join AMD, you'll discover the real differentiator is our culture. We push the limits of innovation to solve the world's most important challenges-striving for execution excellence, while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives. Join us as we shape the future of AI and beyond. Together, we advance your career. THE ROLE Step into a high-stakes leadership role at the intersection of cutting-edge silicon and global-scale AI deployment. As Senior Manager in the Platform Field Engineering team within Data Center Platform Engineering Group DPEG, you will build and lead a team of customer-facing debug engineers who own server- and rack-level hardware and firmware debug during customer bring-up and early deployment, with continued support through ODM factory build (NPI). Your team is the trusted technical bridge between AMD engineering, the world's largest data center customers, and global ODM partners. You set technical direction, develop talent, drive issues to root cause, keep customer deployments and ramp schedules on track, and roll up clear status to both internal and external leadership. THE PERSON You are a hands-on people leader who pairs deep system debug expertise with the executive presence to navigate intense customer escalations. You are equally at home in a customer bring-up lab chasing a field anomaly and in an executive review distilling fragmented data into a clear hypothesis and a decision. You lead without ego, influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, and treat the growth of your engineers as a personal success metric. You stay calm under pressure, are resourceful with scarce hardware, and believe customer success and technical excellence are inseparable. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
