This position may work up to 30 hours per week.Please note that the wage for this position is $16.94/hour. Hours: (Two week) Sunday: 4p-12:30a Monday: 5p-10:30p Tuesday: 5p-10:30p Wednesday: 5p-10:30p Thursday: 5p-10:30p Friday: Off Saturday: Off Sunday: 4p-12:30a Monday: 5p-10:30p Tuesday: 5p-10:30p Wednesday: 5p-10:30p Thursday: 5p-10:30p Friday: Off Saturday: Off Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Function:Under supervision, perform duties related to collection and recording of monies. Duties and Responsibilities:1. Count, wrap, and verify money. Keep money and reports secure at all times. 2. Open on time and maintain published meal service hours. 3. Operate electronic terminals with a high degree of accuracy in logging on, completing cash transactions, completing cash equivalency and debit account transactions, and generating a detailed daily media report at the end of each meal. A high degree of accuracy is expected. 4. Prepare a manual 'Check Out Form' to report all monies from sales and to account for sales 'overage' and 'shortage'. Form must be neatly written and completely accurate. Frequent overage or shortage is not acceptable. 5. Customer transactions must be made speedily; interact with customers with a smile, courtesy, friendliness, and helpfulness, and communicate customer concerns, questions, comments, and compliments to supervisor. 6. Maintain cash terminal, scales (where applicable), and other equipment in good condition through correct operation and cleaning procedures. Report equipment malfunctions immediately. 7. Maintain cleanliness, neatness, attractive product display, and good organization of all areas around and including cashier station. 8. Enforce all rules and regulations, including but not limited to: observation of the servery, dining room and grocery areas for possible theft such as pocketing food items or not paying; In all-you-care-to-eat locations, admit only those who have a valid meal plan or who have paid; Permit carry-out according to policy and procedures; Report all violations immediately to management. 9. May be required to: wash and clean dining room conveyors, tables, chairs, service areas, other furnishings, window sills, plants, and equipment located in dining room, serve or re-supply food, snack foods, and other items, instruct dining room attendants in performance of work, assist with special meals or events, i.e., napkin folding, draping and skirting tables, placing decorations, dishing foods, setting up buffet tables, etc., and launder, dry, fold, hang, and store shirts, towels, skirting, or other dining service items as assigned. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: 2. Must have clean body, teeth, hair, nails, and clothing. Previous experience in cashiering and using a computerized cash register.
