This position can be located in either Fargo or Grand Forks, ND.
Job Summary:
As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will coordinate administrative functions for the Construction department, ensuring efficient project management and execution of multiple construction projects.
Responsibilities:
* Efficiently manage the administrative aspects of multiple concurrent construction projects.
* Build, maintain, and manage the building permit database, supporting Right of Way permit tracking.
* Ensure project documents are completed according to company standards and placed in Compass, keeping all documents current.
* Coordinate and oversee materials forecasting, procurement, and logistical requirements for new builds.
* Initiate and process network change notifications and as-built information promptly and accurately.
* Ensure the relevancy and accuracy of network and system maps by coordinating updates.
* Produce and maintain timely and accurate documentation, including weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
* Read, comprehend, and utilize network system maps and plans.
* Demonstrate knowledge of Midco's safety program by enforcing safety rules and procedures, wearing appropriate safety apparel (e.g., hard hats, safety vests, OSHA-approved boots), and operating all equipment safely.
* Operate and drive a company vehicle in compliance with all Midco policies and procedures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to traffic laws. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular maintenance and repairs are conducted as scheduled to uphold a professional image.
* Model Midco's mission, vision, values, ethos, and Leadership Success Drivers, and inspire others to do the same.
* Ensure customer privacy by adhering to Midco's privacy guidelines while actively following Midco policies and procedures.
* Maintain reliable and predictable attendance as required by the position.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
* Complete Construction First Time Right (FTR) certification within 60 days of hire and consistently apply principles in all aspects of work.
* Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. A DUI conviction within the past five years will result in disqualification from employment in this position.
* Working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations and general safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's degree or vocational training in a related field.
* NCTI, SCTE, or other broadband certification, or previous experience in installing and troubleshooting broadband services.
Note: Team Members will be assigned a level based on the required experience and training. Advancement is sequential and contingent upon successful completion of all requirements at the preceding level, including certifications, demonstrated proficiencies, and time-in-role or equivalent experience where applicable.
Construction Project Coordinator
* No previous experience required.
Construction Project Coordinator I
* 1 year in role or equivalent experience.
* Proficiency in Software/Applications, GIS, and Contractor Documentation.
* Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the construction. process, including documentation and project closure preparation.
* Serve as the initial responder for bury drop complaints.
Construction Project Coordinator II
* 2 years in role or equivalent experience.
* Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) Certification.
* Ability to develop policies and procedures, and conduct training
* Coordinate and present Annual FTR Drop Training.
* Quality Assure NCNs and Asbuilts.
Work Environment:
* The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
* Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment and/or remote work setting, depending on business needs.
* While performing the duties of this position, the team member is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions to observe operational environments with potential physical hazards.
* Occasional travel, including overnight travel, to Technical Operations Centers across the Midco footprint to observe operational environments.
* May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and outside normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings, and weekends, as business demands.
Physical Demands:
* May occasionally be required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
* May be required to remain in a seated position for extended periods.
* Heavy keyboard/mouse usage required with repetitive movements
* While primarily office-based, this role requires occasional field presence. When in the field, the individual must be aware of and adhere to the environmental conditions and physical demands typical of field operations. This includes readiness to work in outdoor settings, elevated or confined spaces, and perform moderate physical tasks. The ability to safely and effectively navigate these environments is essential to support operational teams and uphold safety standards.
Mental Demands:
* Ability to analyze complex plans, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, vendors, customers, and regulatory officials.
* Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of operations.
