Purpose of Position
Designs, develops, and evolves high-fidelity simulation environments and real-time software systems. This role bridges the gap between hardware interfaces and complex software architectures to deliver accurate training and testing platforms. Able to guide others in performing assignments. Ability to define and negotiate simulation engineering requirements, cost of labor assessments and establishing a team structure to execute task/project. Tasks and Responsibilities

* Bachelor's degree in engineering and five years related experience, preferably in simulation; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum Experience
* 5+ years of related software engineering experience required. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Software Knowledge and Skills * Languages: C, Modern C++, C#, .NET, Fortran, Lua, Python. Language, Mathematical, and Reasoning Skills * Language Skills: Fluency in English through both verbal and written communication. Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. * Mathematical Skills: Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. * Reasoning Ability: Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Physical Demands and Work Environment
