Job Summary:
The Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a dedicated, hardworking, and self-motivated CT Technologist who is enthusiastic about advancing both clinical care and imaging-based research. As part of the WIMR Imaging Medical Services team, this individual will play a key role in translating innovative CT imaging science into high-quality patient care, supporting UW Radiology's mission of discovery, education, and excellence in clinical service. In this role, the CT Technologist will perform a broad range of responsibilities, including conducting daily research and standard-of-care clinical CT examinations, supporting advanced CT imaging protocols, and managing data associated with CT research studies. The position also involves educating, training, and supporting researchers on CT scanner operations and imaging techniques, assisting with research billing and documentation, and ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies. This role requires close collaboration with faculty, investigators, and clinical teams to support safe, efficient, and high-quality imaging across both clinical and research environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge imaging initiatives at WIMR, including the integration of advanced CT technologies such as Photon Counting CT, helping to shape the future of imaging-based research and its impact on patient care.
