Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support our talent acquisition efforts by partnering with hiring managers, assisting with campus recruiting initiatives, and helping enhance our overall recruitment strategies. You will collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to identify, engage, and attract top talent across the organization. This role will also support recruiting efforts for Corporate Services departments, serving as a trusted talent acquisition consultant to hiring managers to proactively address current and future hiring needs.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing strategies, share best practices, and identify innovative approaches to attract talent.

• Support recruiting efforts for Corporate Services departments, partnering closely with hiring managers as a proactive talent acquisition consultant to understand workforce needs and deliver effective talent solutions.

• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to strengthen the organization's employment brand, networking and talent attraction efforts.

• Conduct candidate screening and evaluation for positions ranging from entry-level to senior leadership roles.

• Leverage recruiting expertise and market intelligence to develop effective recruiting strategies and influence key stakeholders.

• Utilize recruiting metrics and data to evaluate outcomes and inform continuous improvement efforts.

• Assist with offer preparation, presentation, and onboarding activities.

• Support internship program planning and execution as needed.

• Travel to Company locations and to offsite recruiting resources, such as colleges and universities, as needed

• Participate in additional Human Resources and Talent Acquisition projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience preferred in Corporate Recruiting, Campus Recruiting, College/University Career Services, Talent Acquisition, or Career Placement Advising.

• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems; knowledge of Workday is a plus.

• Working knowledge of compliance related to EEO and FLSA classifications.

• Ability to travel frequently throughout the region, with heightened travel requirements during peak recruiting seasons (January-March and September-November).

• Position is located at the corporate office in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
