Carpenter - Industrial

Construct and assemble concrete forming systems for industrial, commercial, and bridge projects. This position is responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures, scaffolding, and framework while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. Utilize blueprint interpretation, layout planning, and strong carpentry skills to support the successful completion of complex construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Constructs or assembles concrete forming systems, according to blueprints and specifications, for forming concrete structures.
• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools while conforming to local building codes.
• Interprets blueprints, sketches, or building plans in preparation of layout to determine dimensions and type of material required.

Qualifications/Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in industrial, commercial and bridgework.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• A minimum of 3 years of assembly/disassembly of heavy form systems.
• Knowledge in the use of concrete pumps, placement, and finishing of concrete and installation of rebar is a plus.
• Prior Rigging knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with leveling tools such as laser levels and transits.
• Must have the appropriate tools of the trade.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, knowledge, qualifications, and performance. The compensation range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 and is exclusive of any other benefit and/or bonus. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued growth.
