Why This Role Matters

The Program Manager supervises and supports Didlake Employment Specialists to ensure the delivery of high-quality employment services for individuals with disabilities. This position oversees program operations, quality assurance, and compliance with applicable regulations and contractual requirements. The role manages special projects and may provide direct employment services as needed to support program operations. The Program Manager promotes Employment First principles and person-centered practices while collaborating across departments. This position supports Didlake's mission by helping individuals with disabilities achieve meaningful employment and greater independence.

What You Will Do

Administrative & Program Management



  • Provides management, training, and support to Employment Specialists.
  • Assists with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of Employment Specialists.
  • Oversees assessment, intake, referral, discharge, and individual service plan processes.
  • Provides project management for special projects and service areas, including Project SEARCH, Pre-ETS, WISA, TTW, DD Waiver, GSE, LTESS/EES, PBS, and other department initiatives as assigned.
  • Ensures compliance with Didlake policies, contractual requirements, and DBHDS, CARF, DARS, Ability One, DOL, DMAS, and HIPAA standards.
  • Monitors timesheets, expense reports, billing, electronic client records, and equitable caseload distribution.
  • Assists with budget development, committee participation, meetings, and required Didlake training.
  • Provides service oversight, crisis management support, and promotes best practices in employment and community services.


Quality Assurance



  • Reviews service plans, progress, documentation, billing, timesheets, and expense reports to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Assists with consumer and employer satisfaction surveys.
  • Completes regular and annual staff performance evaluations.


Marketing & Community Relations



  • Develops and maintains partnerships with referral sources, employers, and community organizations.
  • Markets employment services, generates referrals, identifies employment opportunities, and conducts employer outreach.
  • Represents Didlake through presentations, job fairs, recruitment campaigns, and public relations activities.


Direct Services (As Needed)



  • Conducts consumer intake and provides supported employment services, including situational assessments, job placement, training, follow-along, benefits planning, and positive behavior support, as credentialed or certified.
  • Oversees Group Supported Employment operations and ensures compliance with Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) person-centered requirements.
