Requirements

• Previous Tool & Die experience required
• Strong knowledge of stamping dies, including blanking, forming, and drawing dies
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience troubleshooting dies both in the press and in the toolroom
• Ability to operate precision machining equipment and hand tools
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Ability to provide your own measuring and hand tools
• TIG (toolroom) welding experience preferred but not required
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety, including Lockout/Tagout procedures

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production dies and tooling
• Operate precision machinery and hand tools to manufacture and repair tooling components
• Install, repair, and adjust die sensors and safety devices
• Lay out, fit, and assemble cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
• Read blueprints and determine machining layouts and repair processes
• Troubleshoot stamping dies, including die timing, pad travel, stripper, and binder pad adjustments
