The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati is a liberal arts college offering a wide range of programs across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The college's marketing and communications team plays a key role in telling the stories of our students, faculty, and programs through clear, engaging, andaudience-focused content. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, the team supports a wide range of communication needs across academic units, with a strong emphasis on storytelling and written content. This position is part of a team-oriented environment where strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. The role contributes to a coordinated communications approach, working closely with colleagues to develop content that promotes the college and supports both internal and external audiences. This position offers the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) following approximately six weeks of on-site training. Employees must reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky within a reasonable commuting distance to the University of Cincinnati's main campus. The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati seeks a Communication Coordinator to support the creation, research, and development of written and digital content as part of the college's Marketing and Communications team. This role plays a key part in producing articles and storytelling content that highlight the college's programs, people, and impact. The position works closely with academic units, faculty, and team members to help identify story opportunities and develop clear, engaging content for a variety of audiences. In addition to feature stories, the role contributes to web content, employee communications, and other messaging that supports college priorities and aligns with the college and university's mission and vision. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, able to manage multiple assignments, and skilled at translating complex or technical information into clear, compelling narratives.
