The largest of the four Duke Healthhospitals with 1062 patient beds, it features comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including a regional emergency/trauma center, an endo-surgery center, and more. Location: Duke Hospital, 2301 Erwin Rd, Durham, NC 27710 Work Schedule: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM with alternating weekends Occupational Summary Perform duties in computerized order entry, shipping, receiving, and distribution of hospital merchandise, supplies, equipment, and linen. Maintain strong inventory management processes to meet supply needs with prompt delivery. Ensure the accuracy of issued items, maintain good working order and availability of equipment, and facilitate smooth operations at the loading dock and stockrooms. Level 1 Responsibilities Level 1 staff are required to perform the following core shipping and receiving duties, ensuring optimal inventory management for in-scope facilities:
Level 2 Responsibilities In addition to Level 1 duties, Level 2 staff spend at least 50% of their time performing the following advanced functions:
