Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Financial Analysis, Analyst to support our Corporate Office in Tysons Corner, Virginia. The Financial Analysis, Analyst will assist with financial tracking, budget formulation, payroll and financial support.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule with two working days in our Tysons Corner, Virginia office. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Costpoint and Microsoft tools to perform budget and financial analysis (monitoring, reporting etc.)
  • Assist in the preparation of Company-wide Budgets (Corporate and Operational)
  • Create dashboard reports and distribute to key stakeholders
  • Provide Executive Management with Timely ad-hoc reporting on Indirect Rates and other reporting as required
  • Prepare financial reports for Operational Management
  • Prepare reports and responses to external inquiries, audits, and key stakeholders
  • Assist in corporate efforts that pertain to multi-level organizational needs

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional work experience
  • 2 - 4 years of experience with accounting practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Proficient in Excel)
  • Ability to identify and apply critical analysis to financial problems and develop alternative solutions
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and see multiple projects through to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Government Contracts Accounting practices and FAR regulations
  • Familiar with DCAA Contracting requirements
  • Audit and Government accounting Experience, such as:
    • Understanding of Indirect rate structuring
    • Experience with IBM Cognos/Deltek Costpoint
    • Special consideration for IBM Cognos Report Writing Experience
    • Ability to develop and run reports

For this position, the projected compensation range is $61,476.00 - $79,999.00 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
