Salary

  • Minimum starting salary $25.00

  • Shift premiums:
    • 2nd shift: $2.00/hour
    • 3rd shift: $3.00/ hour

  • Training may be completed on 1st shift for several months if needed

Sign-On Bonus

  • $3000 sign-on bonus available for external hires

Position Overview

We're looking for skilled Machinists to join our growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for an experienced machinist with a strong background in grinding and milling, who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges and producing precision components for the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment.
  • Perform precision grinding and milling operations on aerospace components.
  • Operate and troubleshoot multi-axis machining equipment, including:
    • 5-axis grinding machines
    • 3-axis CNC milling machines
    • Multi-axis conventional machining equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Make tooling and offset adjustments to maintain production and quality standards.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma/GED

Qualifications

  • 2 years of related machining experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong experience with precision grinding and milling.
  • CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Experience with multi-axis machining, including 5-axis grinding and 3-axis milling.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset.
