Ziegler Ag Equipment has an opening for an Ag Region Sales Manager who is responsible for identifying market needs, developing effective sales strategies, and creating regional sales promotions. The Ag Region Sales Manager is in charge of hiring, training, coaching, managing and evaluating Account Managers and Inside Sales Representative personnel. In addition, this position is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction, forecasting, budgeting resources, designing and allocating territories, and managing profitable growth; all while communicating and living Ziegler's mission statement "to maximize uptime for our customers in the communities we serve."

Responsibilities:

  • Administers product sales and marketing plans to develop a go to market strategy
  • Coordinates sales efforts and utilizes team approach across the entire dealership including sales, parts and service
  • Develops forecasts for estimated unit sales and revenue
  • Manages the assets and an approved budget for the region
  • Ensures the inventory investment is consistent with demand to meet customer needs
  • Introduces new products to the team and customer base
  • Collaborates with Marketing Department and Sales Teams to create marketing plans
  • Coordinates sales and product support offerings to maximize opportunities for customers
  • Manages sales process specifics with customer, including financing, trade-in values, delivery time and other purchase-related details
  • Develops coverage, investment, and business plans to manage customer relations
  • Resolves escalated customer issues, and ultimately owns the Ziegler/Customer relationship
  • Develops vendor relationships to establish local support as needed
  • Interviews, selects, and hires employees for the region, while following dealership hiring procedures
  • Manages daily workflow within the region by establishing operating procedures and policies and prioritizing, distributing, and monitoring work assignments
  • Proper oversight and management of the CRM and Quoting Tools to provide clear and effective communication to marketing and sales management to ensure proper alignment with the goals of Ziegler and vendors.
  • Supports the Account Managers in the sales development process, and helps to develop the selling strategies consistent with the value proposition we offer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Agriculture-related field
  • Minimum of two years of successful sales experience selling Ag or related equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and agricultural background
  • Proven approach for selling high value agricultural equipment
  • Self-motivated and success-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Clean driving record is a must
  • Able to drive equipment
  • Personal Attributes: Leadership Orientation, Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Planning & Organization, Conflict Management, Critical Thinking

Travel:

  • Up to 50% travel

Minimum Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing
  • Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.

The total compensation (base plus incentive) for this position is

$218,400.00 to $327,600.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
