MU Research Reactor Job Description
The Facility Coordinator supports the mission of the MU Research Reactor (MURR) by coordinating and optimizing the use of facilities, operational spaces, and non-radioactive items stored onsite. This position focuses on planning, coordination, documentation, and space impact awareness rather than execution of procurement or surplus property transactions. The role works collaboratively with reactor operations, facilities staff, procurement, surplus property, and compliance personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facility use. This position will also work closely with other Administrative Support Staff to support MURR Leadership; and report directly to the Associate Director - Facility Operations. Shift
Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as nuclear, laboratory, healthcare, or manufacturing settings Anticipated Hiring Range
