Salary Range: 21.80

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Fabrication technician works in Lamination, Trim, Scrap, and cutting department. The associate may work in one or more departments. This includes, but is not limited to cutting product, compressing, convoluting, laminating, trimming, cleaning up, product management, material handler/forklift driver, and more. Performs all of these responsibilities while creating a safe work environment for him/her and all other technicians.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

To perform this job successfully, an associate must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable an associate with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Intermediate knowledge of PC usage required to include using Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows and data entry operations is required before reaching technician 2 status.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete carriable in situations where standardization exists.
• Ability to prepare routine reports, as required needed for technician two.
• Be able to work overtime with short notice.
