***Experience Required*** Holt CAT, the largest Caterpillar dealer of heavy construction equipment in the United States, is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician for the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas Region. The Field Service Technician's primary role is to conduct exceptional field service repairs, which include addressing problems such as emissions, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues on heavy construction equipment like dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, and excavators. Hours for this position will be Monday thru Friday 7am to 5pm, must be able to work overtime. Must have a valid driver license and a good driving record. Related construction equipment experience is preferred for this role. Must be able to obtain a CDL Class B. Must maintain a DOT medical Card.

Benefits Education and Experience:
* More than four years of heavy equipment experience required; six or more years preferred
* Must be able to use CAT ET and CAT SIS2.0 * MSHA certification preferred * Air conditioning certification preferred * Must be able to properly and efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose emission systems Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Valid Driver's license required * Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must have an acceptable driving record
* Must own required tools to perform repairs
Physical Requirements: * Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
* Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 80 lb
* Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
* Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment
* Be able to maneuver safely and work underneath equipment
* Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
Work Environment: * Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment
* Regularly works outdoors around moving mechanical parts and noise level may be loud at times
* May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
* Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high speed rotating equipment
* Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places
