The Idealease Account Manager is responsible for acquiring new and add-on contract business, maintaining high levels of customer responsiveness, and achieving annual sales quotas. This role involves sales operations, customer relationship management, and collaboration with internal departments to ensure service excellence. Acquires new and add-on contract business. Responds promptly to customer needs and requests. Achieves annual sales quotas and gross margin targets. Markets Idealease services and support the sales department. Assists in preparing the Annual Business Plan. Develops and implements Lease/Dedicated Maintenance Sales and Prospecting Plans. Maintains and utilizes a customer database for leads and prospects. Provides regular sales reports to management. Interacts with all departments to ensure high customer service levels. Reviews customer evaluations periodically. Follows credit policies and assists with collections. Uses Idealease sales tools including the Rating System and I-Lease Program. Maintains delivery reports for forecasting. Communicates and cooperates with all departments. Participates in training and professional development. Promotes teamwork and uphold company values. Works safely adhering to all applicable safety policies, complying with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong data analytical skills. Excellent self-management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and effectively within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and achievement of goals. Strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Construction Management is preferred. 3 or more years of sales or account management experience in leasing or transportation industry. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Travel: Some travel required. Valid driver's license. Physical Requirements: This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc. This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work. Work Environment: This job is generally performed in a professional office environment. Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity. Frequently works at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
