Pay Rate: $150,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

IT Director - Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required
  • MBA or master's degree in information systems preferred
  • CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Cisco, Microsoft, or Azure certifications preferred



IT Director - Skills + Experience Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of progressive information technology experience.
  • 3-5+ years of IT leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience developing and executing enterprise IT strategies and technology roadmaps.
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, ERP, CRM, WMS, and Shopify systems.
  • Strong cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy compliance knowledge.
  • IT budgeting, technology procurement, and vendor contract negotiation experience.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate independently and lead technology initiatives with autonomy.

IT Director - Responsibilities + Job Duties

  • Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with business growth.
  • Lead IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, hardware, and enterprise systems.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage IT leaders and technology staff.
  • Establish cybersecurity protocols and oversee technology risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and security requirements.
  • Manage the annual IT budget, technology investments, and procurement.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee technology partnerships.
  • Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify and address technology needs.
  • Optimize system performance, operational reliability, and user satisfaction.
