Job Title: Engineer 2 Location: Westminster CA 92683 Duration: 23 months Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload: Develop and execute test plans for AMI 2.0 meters and ancillary metering devices. Perform laboratory evaluations in coordination with a Laboratory Technician who will conduct specific tests. Ensure compliance with CPUC regulations, ANSI standards (specifically the C12 suite), and national electric codes. Apply laboratory testing methods and safe practices for complex evaluations and installations. Support installation and testing of single-phase and polyphase meters. Collaborate cross-functionally to address technical issues and maintain quality standards throughout deployment. Required Skills/Attributes: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Knowledge of CPUC regulatory requirements and ANSI C12 standards. Familiarity with national electric codes and laboratory safety protocols. Experience in creating and managing test plans for metering systems. Understanding of AMI systems and interoperability principles. Desired Skills/Attributes: Hands-on experience with laboratory testing of metering devices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
