The Team

Join a team of talented professionals with deep business and finance transformation experience who guide clients through major transactions, including M&A, carve-outs, IPOs, system implementations, and organizational change. We help organizations define business strategy and execute transformation initiatives across operational accounting, financial process improvement, financial technology enablement, FP&A, liquidity and cash reporting, regulatory reporting, risk management, and transactions.

Your Impact



  • Work within our Financial Services vertical, supporting brokerage, insurance, financial services, FinTech, large technology, Fortune 500, and other complex enterprise clients.
  • Support large-scale programs and multi-workstream initiatives, ensuring alignment and timely execution.
  • Partner with senior team members to execute strategic initiatives, transformation projects, leadership communications, and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Lead client workshops, current-state assessments, requirements-gathering sessions, and executive presentations, drawing on prior experience in similar client-facing environments.
  • Apply Finance & Accounting, operational, project management, product management, and problem-solving skills to solve complex challenges, with limited formal documentation, and deliver tangible outcomes.


Your Experience

Minimum Qualifications



  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Consulting, Finance, or Accounting


  • Knowledge of financial services, FinTech, insurance, brokerage, Fortune 500 Tech, or similarly complex enterprise environments
  • Direct involvement with complex mergers and acquisitions, integration projects, and/or system implementations
  • Strong communication, leadership communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working directly with Finance & Accounting teams
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders including Lines of Business Leads, Product, and Technology
  • Ability to produce deliverables without relying on standardized templates
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning tools (SAP, Oracle)
  • Hands on experience with:

    • Assessing current state and making recommendations for future state; writing business requirements and test cases; executing test cases and escalating issues through to resolution OR
    • Product management, including a strong foundation in Agile, Waterfall, and other methodologies, and presenting recommendations to management


  • Willingness to go onsite to clients ~1-3 days per week


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in client-facing work in professional services
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with operational accounting, SOX/controls, FP&A, SEC or regulatory reporting
  • Integration or M&A experience
  • Knowledge of financial services regulations and risk management
  • Advanced degrees (MBA or MSA) or certification (CPA or equivalent)

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Highspring believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between the range below. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
