Role Maintains and administers on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure by monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, and resolving foundational issues. Executes infrastructure tasks and contributes to implementation efforts while developing technical expertise across platforms, tools, and processes. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

- Monitors and administers infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and cloud environments, to ensure performance, availability, and reliability
- Performs routine maintenance activities, including patching, updates, and system health checks, following established schedules and standards
- Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderately complex infrastructure issues, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution
- Assists in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network components, and cloud-based resources
- Maintains accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support operational consistency
- Handles Tier 2 escalations, ensuring proper triage, communication, and resolution tracking
- Follows established security, compliance, and access control standards to protect systems and data
- Collaborates with team members and cross-functional partners to support infrastructure initiatives and ongoing improvements
- Continuously develops technical knowledge and skills related to infrastructure tools, platforms, and best practices
- Participates in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support for critical infrastructure, responding to alerts, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolution as needed
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology OR A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfactorily perform the essential job functions may be substituted
- Industry-recognized certifications (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network A+, CompTIA Security+, Azure Fundamentals AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practioner) preferred
