Job Title: Phlebotomist I

Location: 3940 Arrowhead Blvd, Suite 204, Mebane, NC 27302

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Extension/Contract-to-Hire)

Shift- 8AM-5PM


Job Description

We are seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team in Mebane, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, excellent customer service, and experience working in a fast-paced Patient Service Center (PSC). This role requires performing blood collections, specimen processing, data entry, and supporting daily laboratory operations while maintaining high standards of patient care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform 40-80 blood draws per day (based on patient volume).
  • Collect blood specimens using proper venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients.
  • Process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Perform accurate data entry and collect patient payments.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure adequate laboratory supplies.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and infection control procedures.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with the team.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure specimen integrity.
  • Support daily operations of the Patient Service Center.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric (Pedi) phlebotomy experience
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred but not required)
  • High School Diploma or GED


Work Environment

  • Patient Service Center (PSC)
  • Team-based environment
  • Two-draw-room facility
  • Standing for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Two weeks of onsite training
  • Potential future travel or work at an IOP location
