| Primary Purpose of Position |
Provides account maintenance and reporting for the department's state and grant accounts. This position is responsible for all account-related business processes in the department, as well as all faculty/staff hiring and other personnel-related issues. This will also include online purchase requisitions. Assists the Chair with event and meeting scheduling, calendar maintenance, advisory board support, articulation conferences,
ABET activities, and special projects. The position works closely with the College of Engineering Business Services Process Owner in accomplishing duties related to the department's accounts. Orders and forms impacting the accounts will be completed for Engineering Technology faculty members and students. This position provides administrative support to department faculty. This position provides information on business-related processes to the Chair. |

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

| Essential Job Duties |
The position requires a self- motivated and proactive individual capable of identifying inefficiencies and opportunities and acting on them. Duties include account management of both state and grant funds, including reconciliations, procurement, receiving, personnel, etc. This position also involves composing correspondence that is sent out to students, faculty, staff, and external contacts. This position reports to the department chair and provides support to the department administration, faculty, and students. Assist Academic Advisors and assume other duties as needed and assigned. |

- Prior Higher Ed work experience.
- Experience managing federal and state grants and contracts.
- Familiar with fiscal year general fund management.
- Experience with financial reconciliations of general fund and grant accounts.
- Experience with balancing budgets and developing budget projections.
- Familiar with purchasing processes using an e-procurement system and processing P-Card transactions.
- Familiar with undergraduate student hiring and/or graduate student appointment processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software and Google Suite.
- Possesses a general knowledge of Human Resources hiring processes.
