Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Perioperative Support Equipment Coordinator to join the team! This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm

Perioperative Support Equipment Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoots operational problems with equipment during set up and operation.
  • Disassembles, cleans, and assembles equipment in accordance with department, vendor, biomed and infection control policies, and procedures
  • Maintains an up-to-date list of all department equipment.
  • Conducts a monthly assessment of the physical facility to identify needed repairs and problems.
  • Works with Biomedical Engineering to coordinate equipment maintenance, repairs, and new equipment checks.
  • Consistently and accurately performs testing and calibration on equipment according to department and vendor standards.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Years of Experience: Two years of OR hospital experience to include at least one year of surgical equipment experience

  • Certification: Basic Life Support via AHA within 3 months
