As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.95 - $21.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or other assigned areas to help to control access, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, providing directions and assistance, and completing assigned reports related to security-related events and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security experience of at least 1 year is required.
• Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
