Clinical Services Coordinator, Advanced (Bilingual)

Your Role

The Behavioral Health Utilization Management team provides utilization management and support for members seeking behavioral health treatment. The BHT Clinical Services Coordinator will report to the Supervisor of Behavioral Health Utilization Management. In this role you will assist the member, family and/or caregiver, and provider in the treatment and management of BHT services, in consultation with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience. May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience
• Requires broad knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education
• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual English to Spanish
• Ability to enter data into the computer and extract information from databases required
• Excellent communication skills with individuals internal and external to BSC including physicians, members, patients, and service providers required
• Ability to assist the member, family and/or caregiver, and provider in the treatment and management of BHT services, in consultation with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
• Ability to identify problems and work towards problem resolution independently, seeking guidance as needed
• Ability to represent the health plan in a professional and knowledgeable fashion
• Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications

This role allows employees to work virtually full-time, however employees will be expected to come to the office based on business need.
