Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience utilizing bilingual skills (Spanish/English) at a conversation level in a clinical setting * Current DEA licenses and full prescriptive authority * Experience working with population-based outcomes * Experienced clinical preceptor * Experience working with marginalized populations * One or more years of advanced practice experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Considerable degree of independent judgment and autonomy in practice. * Clinical expertise in pediatric primary care * Willingness and ability to work in an integrated care setting, with a high degree of teamwork and collaboration * Ability to use computer and clinic software, and to document in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) with thoroughness and accuracy. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the health care team * Excellent knowledge of and ability to perform clinical teaching * Ability to remain credentialed by the health plans and ensure credentialing materials stay current. * Ability to effectively develop and promote practice through participation in marketing and patient recruitment * Ability to take one week-at-a-time on-call in a rotation schedule. * Availability of working evenings and weekends as needed. * Ability to handle average nurse practitioner caseload |
