Tharros is actively pursuing an opportunity to support the Air Force Mission Assurance Construct Support (MACS) program, providing mission analysis, base assessment support, and data platform management services that strengthen the Air Force's Mission Assurance Construct. Tharros is seeking an experienced Data Manager to provide assessment process support, data collection, and analytical exploitation of Mission Assurance assessment data. This position operates at the intersection of assessment execution and data engineering, using Palantir Foundry to collect, structure, govern, and exploit Mission Assurance data across the full assessment lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Support Mission Assurance assessment activities through structured data collection, preparation, ingestion, and management of assessment data under Government direction.
- Collect, structure, and manage data from Department of War Mission Assurance Assessments, Pre-Site Surveys, on-site assessments, stakeholder reports, and related USAF augmentation activities.
- Coordinate with Mission Analysts, Mission Support Specialists, Government assessment teams, and stakeholders to ensure assessment data is complete, consistent, traceable, and suitable for downstream analysis.
- Implement, sustain, and improve Mission Assurance data workflows, analytical models, dashboards, monitoring views, and decision-support products within Palantir Foundry and other Government-directed enterprise data platforms.
- Configure and use Palantir Foundry capabilities to enable Mission Assurance data analysis, reporting, automation, project coordination, and sustainment of enterprise-ready data products.
- Aggregate, normalize, integrate, and analyze Mission Assurance data to identify trends, systemic vulnerabilities, recurring dependencies, cross-mission risk drivers, and enterprise-level patterns.
- Integrate assessment data with mission mapping, critical capability data, TCA identification, criticality analysis, and related Joint, Service, infrastructure, cyber, resilience, and operational assessment sources.
- Maintain data stewardship and governance practices, including data standards, definitions, quality controls, version management, change coordination, controlled sharing, and documentation of data models and workflows.
- Assess and refine Mission Assurance data architecture, data models, ontologies, analytical frameworks, and workflows to improve coherence, scalability, usability, analytical rigor, and decision support.
- Support technical coordination, training, user support, knowledge transfer, and collaboration using Government-directed tools such as Platform One, Mattermost, Jira, and Confluence.
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Active TS, with SCI elibility
- 3-10 years of professional experience in any career field, discipline, or industry.
- Ability to perform functional duties independently in a fast-paced, Government support environment.
- Palantir Foundry Data Engineer Certification.
- Demonstrated experience using Palantir Foundry or comparable enterprise data platforms to build, manage, and sustain data workflows, models, and analytical pipelines.
- Experience collecting, structuring, governing, and managing operational or analytical data in a Department of Defense environment.
- Experience aggregating, normalizing, integrating, and synthesizing structured and unstructured data across multiple sources.
- Experience applying data quality controls, version management, and governance practices to ensure reliable, traceable data products.
- Familiarity with data architecture concepts, including data modeling, ontologies, and analytical workflow design.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document data workflows, methods, and technical findings for Government stakeholders.
- Ability to travel to Air Force installations and other Government locations in support of assessment activities and stakeholder coordination.
