Position Title: Investor Operations & Reporting Analyst

Reporting Manger Title: Investor Relations Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mortgage reporting includes: daily and monthly required balancing, mortgage payment processing, delinquent loan reporting, reviewing and balancing mortgage receivables, exception reports, system generated reports, and custom queries designed to eliminate past errors.
  • Review credit report discrepancies for all mortgage loans including processing and confirming changes.
  • Maintain existing relationships with all 3rd Party Investors.
  • Process all adjustments, re-codes, prepares and distributes required notifications.
  • Processes Non Sufficient Funds (NSF) returned items, rejects,
  • postings, clearing unallocated funds, correcting posting errors, paying off loans, and refunding excess payoff funds.
  • Monitors loans sold in Secondary Markets and re-codes loans sold. Processes purchase advices, remittances, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Maintains the digital file interface between the loan processing system and the main core system.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reviewing system variables for core system upgrades, system patches, additional applications, new minors, new products, digital transformation, batch reporting variable creation which includes working directly with: vendors, other business units, IT, and project managers. This will also require: testing, validating, running scenarios, and final signoff.
  • Actively participates in the streamline process for employees and various departments across TDECU which responsibilities include process: review, analysis, validation, implementing improvements, educating employees on the new process, and implementing process review controls.
  • Work across business units to improve monitoring, discovering issues, mitigating risk, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Completes special projects and maintains complex computer based analysis and reports along with providing regular reports to management.
  • Regularly works with external vendors to integrate, maintain, update, and correct data discrepancies to eliminate risks to TDECU vie errors and omissions.
  • Adhere to internal and external controls and provide support for audit and regulatory reviews.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

    (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

    Education

    A Bachelor's degree in business related field is preferred or an equivalent mix of education and or work experience specifically meeting the minimum essential duties is required.

    Experience

    Level 1: 1-2 years experience in data manipulation. Must be proficient in Excel and Word. Previous Database experience highly preferred.

    Level 2: 3-5 years of similar or closely related work experience. Advanced knowledge of internal controls and Investor Reporting is preferred. Demonstrates success in training and mentoring team members.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of data manipulation and investor reporting with the ability to research, analyze, and review complex data.
  • Working knowledge of relevant computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively prioritizes tasks, organize, negotiate, and make important decisions.
