The vision of Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is to be the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and service of engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. By leveraging our expertise in analysis, atomization, combustion, fluid metering, and control - coupled with enterprise excellence - we will exceed customer expectations and achieve our business objectives.

Summary

The Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is seeking a Division Data Analytics Analyst who will report to the Division FP&A Supervisor and play an important role within the organization. The Data Analytics Analyst will work closely with both Finance team members and other functional leaders and managers - working to support improved growth and profitability using strong analytical and business partnering skills. This position will be responsible for KPI governance and support the adoption of Parker best-practice tools. They will convert data insights into documented actions that improve customer/supplier performance, cost, working capital and risk across the division.

Will support all 10 of the global division's sites (Mentor, OH; Devens, MA; Naples, FL; Glendale, AZ; San Diego, CA; Troy, IN; Mt Holly, SC; Ansty Park, United Kingdom; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Clyde, NY) which make up approximately $1.5B of revenue, inclusive of the joint venture revenue. The role will report directly to the Division FP&A Supervisor.

Function support includes: data analytics, tool/dashboard implementation, financial performance measurement, financial reporting, planning, financial system implementation, and cost reduction/financial improvement strategy.

Essential Functions:

  • Divisional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for WSC and responsible for the accuracy of WSC reporting.

  • Owns divisional dashboards and standard KPI definitions (working capital metrics, orders/backlog, SPI, PPI, SLISC, SRPPM, OTP/OTR, Inventory, wages to sales, GM %)

  • Drives spend analytics and contract compliance; partners with Sourcing on ensuring spend data is reviewed for deflation opportunities

    Analyzes gross margin and identify customers/contracts that are opportunities; partners with pricing to ensure margins are reviewed for pricing opportunities.

  • Works with Business Development to develop, organize and interpret demand forecast across the supply chain. Monitors trends as part of the SIOP demand process.

  • Performs analysis regarding key WSC metrics and identifies continuous improvement opportunities within the Division.

  • Key role in the analysis, planning, and design of the strategic systems and processes necessary to achieve Parker Win strategy objectives, global dashboards, and reporting tools.

  • Provides management with information necessary to make business decisions and recommends actions to management by analyzing options.

  • Provides training as necessary to division users on applications, tools, and WSC metrics.

  • May prepare some divisional account entries and reconciliations.

  • Establishes goals and objectives required to complete projects.

  • May lead or be assigned to a special project team.

  • Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g. continuous improvement).

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain or Economics.

  • 2-5 years of experience in Accounting & Finance / Supply Chain / IT disciplines with strong focus on analytics.

  • Ability to develop, analyze and interpret data providing summarized insights to continuous improvement actions.

  • Proficient with automated accounting systems or analytics tools (PowerBI / Tableau, advanced Excel), spreadsheet applications, and general use of intranet/internet communications and standard business applications software.

  • Experience driving change management, stakeholder influence, and training enablement

  • Familiarity with data governance, controls, and cybersecurity preferred

  • Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and modeling preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members and team leaders.
