- Provide overall program and effort management support across assigned activities.
- Support all phases of equipment design, testing, production, procurement, supply, operation, repair, and disposal.
- Assist in developing and updating equipment maintenance programs.
- Provide technical expertise for maintenance, operation, sustainment, and training of complex systems and equipment.
- Offer recommendations on systems, subsystems, and support equipment.
- Participate in the preparation, maintenance, and revision of Technical Orders (TOs).
- Ensure Technical Orders are accurate, complete, properly classified, and technically sound.
- Support modification and configuration control activities for assigned systems.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to develop and process modification packages for approval and implementation.
- Assist the System Engineer in maintaining Configuration Management (CM).
- Support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA), System Verification Reviews (SVR), and Physical Configuration Audits (PCA).
- Review and provide technical feedback on equipment improvement proposals submitted through the Airmen Powered by Innovation (API) Program.
- Provide technical assistance in resolving complex equipment issues and design deficiencies through the Deficiency Reporting and Investigation System (DRIS).
- Assist in managing software using Computer Program Identification Number (CPIN) processes for distribution and configuration control.
- Support provisioning activities and Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD) submissions.
- Verify recommended support equipment meets technical requirements and identify existing Government inventory alternatives when available.
- Assist with collecting, monitoring, entering, and retrieving maintenance data through the Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Program and REMIS.
- Perform technical analysis of Deficiency Reports (DRs) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Supply Deficiency Reports.
- Support technical reviews, validation, and updates of FMS Country Standard Technical Orders (CSTOs).
- Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and other technical data to support engineering and sustainment activities.
Qualifications: Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:
- BA/BS or Master of Arts/ Master of Science (MA/MS) degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience.
- Must possess and maintain a government security clearance at the Secret level.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft programs (including Excel, Word, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Project).
- Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.
- Must be able to transport self to various facility sites, as required. If using own motor vehicle, must possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
