Key Position Details:

  • 1.0 FTE

  • Must reside within 100 miles of Minneapolis, MN for occasional on-site work for construction and troubleshooting

  • Occasional weekends

Job Description:

As a member of the larger Information Technology team, provides technical support for system-wide voice and data networks. This position requires knowledge of multiple systems including network routers, switches and circuits, as well as voice and contact center systems and applications. Provide services that require an understanding of customers' technical and business environment.

Principle Responsibilities

  • System Administration and Documentation
    • Responsible for complex configuration and maintenance of voice and data network equipment and applications.
    • Installs, maintains and supports data and voice networks and related applications.
    • Documents supported network and telecommunications systems following defined documentation standards.
    • Provides expertise in the development of technical standards and operational procedures.
    • Participates in planning and engineering of network and telecommunication systems.
    • Creates and maintains network disaster recovery plans, with data loss prevention methods.
  • Customer Service
    • Works across Information Technology team to develop integrated solutions for customer needs.
    • Diagnoses and resolving voice and data customer issues.
    • Proactively identify customer issues with familiarity with their technical and business environment.
    • Maintains service level agreements and processes needed to run 24/7 critical network.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
  • 5 to 7 years experience supporting network infrastructure and technology, knowledge of multi data center infrastructure based on Cisco ACI, proficient in Cisco IOS software, Cisco routers, switches and monitoring devices

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field

Licenses/Certifications

  • Cisco or Avaya certification preferred

  • Lifting weight up to 20 lbs. occasionally, up to 10 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $48.29 to $66.81 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
