About This Role
The position is responsible for all aspects of pre-award and post-award research administration at the department level by providing assistance to faculty involved in extramural grant and contract activities. Primary job responsibilities include proposal and budget development, monthly financial reporting to principal investigators, fiscal management of grant accounts, proposal modifications, and project closeout. Proposal development includes preparation of electronic proposals and requires review of compliance for federal and state laws and regulations, university policies and sponsor guidelines. Fiscal management of grant accounts includes monthly review of grant budget, budget projections as needed, cost-sharing reports, effort reports and assistance with procurement process for grant expenditures. Worksite Description This position is On-site, 100% the first year, then eligible for hybrid. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law.
