Why Consider This Job Opportunity

This position provides administrative, coordination, and office operations support in a fast-paced technology environment. The role supports employees, management, and visitors by coordinating office operations, meetings, travel, shipping, inventory, and facilities while maintaining a professional and welcoming workplace.


Schedule: This position is expected to work 32 hours per week on-site in our Goleta office during normal business hours.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

  • Oversee daily office administration for the Goleta office.
  • Provide administrative support to management and employees.
  • Coordinate meetings, visitor logistics, company events, and quarterly meetings.
  • Manage calendars, schedules, travel arrangements, and business documents.
  • Coordinate incoming/outgoing mail, shipping, and receiving.
  • Maintain office, laboratory, and kitchen inventories; order supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate vendors, office maintenance, plant care, and facility service requests.
  • Maintain clean, organized office, kitchen, conference rooms, and common areas.
  • Support employee engagement, CSR activities, and office culture initiatives.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects assigned.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Two years of administrative or office support experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience with office management and process improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Forms.
  • Experience managing office vendors and services.
  • Ability to create a welcoming and collaborative workplace.

Travel

Occasional travel for company meetings within California.

Other

Minimum Salary: $25/hr


Maximum Salary: $32/hr
