POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Radiology Administrative Director of Technical Operations and Clinical Supervisor, the Multimodality Tech provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, supervisor, clinicians and others as necessary. Primary duties are to work as a multi modality technologist in the Imaging section performing procedures and exams. Exams and procedures will include diagnostic examinations. Position: Multi-modality Technologist Department: Radiology-Diagnostic Schedule: Part Time JOB REQUIREMENTS Required Knowledge & Skills: Current BLS certificationwith American Heart Association A minimum of any two or more of the following modalities RadiographyTechnologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation. For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12monthof hire and prior to theexpirationof a temporaryMassachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license. Computed TomographyTechnologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license, and/or Nuclear Medicinelicense, and/or Radiation Therapylicense; and Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography Computed Tomography license; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designationand Computed Tomography with RT(CT) designation; and/or Current NMTCB registered certification in Nuclear Medicine with CNMT designation. Magnetic Resonance ImagingTechnologist Current ARRT registered certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with RT(MR) designation; and Preferredadditionalregistered current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation; and Preferredadditionalcurrent Massachusetts DPH Radiologist Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license. MammographyTechnologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) licenseand Mammographylicense; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designationandMammography with RT(M) designation. Angiography (Interventional) Technologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation; and Preferredadditionalcurrent ARRT registered certification in Vascular-Interventional radiography with RT(VI)designation and/orpreferredadditionalcurrent Cardiac-Interventional radiography with RT(CI) designationand/orpreferredadditionalcurrent Cardio-Vascular interventional radiography with RT(CV) designation; and Current ACLS certificationwith American Heart Association;obtained within 6 months ofhire. Nuclear Medicine Technologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic TechnologistNuclear Medicinelicense; and Current ARRT registered certification inNuclear Medicine with RT(N) designation;and/or Current NMTCB registered certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology with CNMT designation. For technologists performing SPECT-CT Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine license SPECT-CT endorsement and/or current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine license CT endorsement and/or current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license. Cardiac Catheterization LabTechnologist Current Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license; and Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation. Current ACLS certification with American Heart Association. Ultrasound Technologist Current ARDMS registered certification inAbdomenwith RDMS(AB) designation and/or current ARDMS registered certification inObstetrics and Gynecologywith RDMS(OB/GYN) designation and/or current ARRT registered certification inSonographywith RT(S) designation.
