| Position Summary |
Serves as the senior administrative and strategic leader for the Facilities Maintenance Division, providing executive oversight of operations, capital planning, and resource management. This position establishes division priorities, directs long-range facility planning, and ensures alignment with institutional goals, regulatory requirements, and fiscal controls.
The Assistant Director exercises authority over budget development, capital renewal programs, and major repair and renovation initiatives. The role provides second-level leadership to maintenance and grounds operations through the Facilities Manager and is responsible for organizational planning, policy development, and performance oversight.
This position serves as the primary liaison to Georgia Center leadership, the Office of University Architects, and the Facilities Management Division, representing the division in executive coordination, planning, and project delivery. |
